For Halloween of 2018 I was tasked to create some horrific guts for a static fish monster prop. My Director Logan Long sculpted the fish and cast it out of a soft self skinning expanding foam with the help of the team. I created the guts out of  Urethane rubber, Liquid Latex, and Foam Latex.

Painting
David Powell our Supervisor in Armor and props handed me off these beautiful swords to paint for our Knights and Celtic Warriors. I gave most of the swords a blue copper petina rust effect that added more age and character to the swords. I used mainly acrylics and oil based paint to get the look. Once I finished painting we later added on a soft leather wrap for the handle.
Christmas Goblin Sleigh
In December of 2018 I was tasked with giving one of our Goblin puppets a large Sleigh to carry around. The previous Halloween season the goblin carried a large pumpkin cart on his back. For Christmas our Director wanted the goblin to be a bit more festive! I created the Sleigh out of a PVC frame and plastic chicken wire. The inner rigging is a hikers backpack so that all the weight of the sleigh rests on the actors shoulders and hips. The skis and gold trim of the sleigh was carved out of a dense L200 foam and then covered in a ridged epoxy for strength.
